As a Wilmington Native, I have proudly lived and participated in the activities of this city, my entire life. For two decades, I served as an Auxiliary Police Officer, spending much of that time with the Wilmington Police Department, while working hard during the day to build a career in radio. I am married to my friend and partner in life, Katya, and I have two sons, Jonathan and Cameron, along with my three-year-old daughter, and my little princess, Sophia.
Since 1996, I have worked as the Vice-president and General Manager for Sea-Comm Media. Sea-Comm Media owns and operates The Penguin, The Bone, and The BIG Talker FM. While I was building my career I also became a sworn auxiliary police officer. My most rewarding experience was when I joined the Wilmington Police Department in 1986. I served with the Wilmington Police Department, until I retired in 2000. Additionally, I am also a licensed aircraft pilot, an Emergency Medical Technician, and Amateur Radio Operator.
Hard work and a little extra effort have gotten me to where I am in life. I feel very fortunate to be able to exercise the liberty and freedom I have as an American, to humbly ask you, the citizens of Wilmington, to give me the opportunity to serve you, as Mayor.
